At the Indian Packaging Summit 2026, hosted by SIES School of Packaging – Packaging Technology Centre, the SOP Star Awards 2026 were presented as part of the summit, recognizing excellence across the packaging and sustainability ecosystem.

“Recycling, Sustainability, and Circularity: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities”,
where industry experts discussed current regulatory developments, implementation challenges, and emerging opportunities in building a strong circular economy for the packaging sector.
The discussion reinforced the importance of collaboration between industry, recyclers, policymakers, and compliance experts to ensure effective execution of sustainability and EPR frameworks in India.
